With years of experience working alongside skilled contractors, we provide expert home repair and maintenance, combining hands-on skill with attention to detail. We’re Tanner and Morgan (Torgan), a husband-and-wife team rooted in South Jersey and Pennsylvania. This is our story.

With our experience of making other peoples homes nicer we had a habit of making our own improvements to any place we moved into (with our landlords approval). It was always a balance of bringing things closer to our standards, while remembering it was just a rental. Then we moved into this place.

Empty room with beige walls, blue accent wall, carpeted floor, and a man standing in doorway to another room with wooden floors and cabinetry, sunlight streaming in.
A small kitchen with wooden cabinets, a white stove, a stainless steel sink, a dish rack, and a partially visible refrigerator. The wall behind the stove has white tiles with small decorative accents, and the wall on the left has a colorful geometric mural. The ceiling is pink, and there's a frosted glass ceiling light.

This little apartment was on an inlet by the shore. It had a lot of character, and some wear and tear. With old electrical finishes, smaller rooms and walls with cracking joints. I was excited to install some small upgrades that would help us feel right at home.

We (I) had tons of ideas for the kitchen, both Tanner and my awesome sister had to hold me back. But with a little compromise we settled on some simple rental friendly upgrades that really changed the look of the place!

Kitchen with wooden cabinets, green tiled backsplash, white stove, stainless steel sink with soap bottle, and various small items on the countertop.

Interior wall with a window with white blinds, decorative wall art with a plant, and brown wooden paneling below the window.

To overcome the cracking seams on the walls, we installed some wainescoting with some grass-cloth wallpaper insets. We also mounted our TV, and installed some Mood Lighting.

A living room setup with a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall showing a mountain landscape, a turntable on a cabinet, and a music small drum kit figurine.

This had a snowball effect, those around us learned about our set of skills and would approach us with their vision. We have great joy in bringing those visions to reality.
